Registration Questions:

A) What is my 'install ID' and how do i find it?
The install ID on your application is a ten digit number used for registration purposes.  To find your install ID, follow these steps:

  • Restart the application
  • On the introduction screen, hit the 'register' button.
  • Write down you install ID on the screen that you can now see.

B) What are my payment options?

Payments can be made using a credit card from several reputable vendors including Paypal.com, Palm Gear, Pocket Gear, Handango and PDA Green.

 

Tradesman Desktop Questions:

A) I'm getting an error during my hotsync, what should i do?

Firstly, have you rebooted your machine since you installed the conduit?  If not, please do so and try the sync again.  There is a known issue with the conduit if you have not performed a reboot.

If you are still getting an error of any kind, email me immediately with the error.  In the mean time, to restore your hotsync to normal, find the file Tradesman.dll on your computer and delete it.  It should be in your c:\palm directory.

A) I'm getting an error when trying to print out an invoice, what should i do?

Firstly, make sure you have filled out the desktop configuration form.  The link to this is on the top left corner of the application window.   Try printing again.  If you're still getting the error, email the description to me.
